Stand Up and Be Counted

Having been a fan on the wrong end of a penalty shootout in the most one-sided FA cup final ever (Man Utd v Arsenal, 2005), I know it's not pleasant. It's a terrible way to end a match - but you can't compare the two games. In 2005 Utd outplayed Arsenal throughout. Last night the two sides were well matched, with both having dominant periods.

John Terry is a class act - he didn't have to hold back Vidic after Drogba had slapped him. If he hadn't, Vidic would surely have killed and eaten Drogba, which I've never seen before but I feel probably would warrant a red card.

(Match statistics here.)
